In 1993, a high-speed TGV train line was opened, connecting Paris with Lille in one hour. This, with the opening of the Channel Tunnel in 1994 and the arrival of the Eurostar train, put Lille at the center of a triangle connecting Paris, London and Brussels. Euralille, an urban remodelling project, and the current Congrexpo, designed by OMA in 1993, transformed Lille into a business and sales capital in Europe. The new conference hotel [ REPEAT ] examines and rethinks the unpredictable path of a salesman. Program is distributed based on the countless possiblilites of choices and actions which shape the environment.
