Private Villa in Sicily

The project involved the architectural design and distribution of interior and exterior spaces creating an apartment of about 100 square meters and an outdoor area of ​​about 420mq. The apartment, a vacation home, appears as a bright, minimalist and quiet, inserted in a context of single-family homes near the coast of Ragusa.

The project, in compliance with the requirements of the customer, has paid particular attention to the use of building materials that were appropriate to ensure optimal comfort and environmental well-being living under the new regulations concerning "the quality of indoor air ".

The interiors are "tailored" to achieve and maximize open spaces characterized by a minimalist style and straightforward. The entrance is directly into the room that communicates with the kitchen. The two large sliding windows allow you to have a single environment, inside and outside, where the functions of living and friendliness come together under the veranda, which in turn overlooks the pool. The quality of light is obtained through the four openings on the porch and on the sides of the house, giving plenty of light and plenty of air to these two environments, which can be seen from the perimeter wall of greenery that creates the privacy of the customer needs. The distribution in the remaining areas is through a small corridor which leads from the guest bathroom and a double room for guests. The area reserved for hosts is like a "suite" hotel, where you can access From the large master bedroom to the garden, or go to the dressing room, the room that connects to the master bathroom.

The furnishings and finishes reminiscent of natural colors like beige, sand, rope, and white. The essences of the woods are dark oak or bleached elm clear.
