Born in Milan in 1981, Roberto Di Stefano graduated in Architecture (2004) from the Polytechnic of Milan, he took a Postgraduate in Interior Design (2006) with a thesis on a hotel project in Milan supervised by the Architect Luca Sacchetti. During the period 2004-2006 he entered the studio of Piero Lissoni and took care of projects for Tecno SpA. The activities ranged from the preparation of the Central Station in Milan for the Salone del Mobile 2005, the renovation of the Headquarters of Varedo (Milan) and the offices in London (2005).
After 2006 he focused on retail projects, following the stores of Israeli Designer Elie Tahari. The design of the showroom in East Hampton (NY) was published in Interior Design (September 2007), while the restructuring of the offices in New York was featured on the cover of the January 2008 edition. In 2008 he restructured the Caselli Daziari in Porta Garibaldi, Milan for Tecno Spa. The year 2009 saw two major projects: the opening of the Kerakoll Design Gallery during the Salone del Mobile in Milan and the restructuring of the London offices of Knoll.
From February 2010 he has worked with Kerakoll, as Project Manager for the commissioning and installation of Cementoresina floor coverings, managing relations with their architects and following the work from design to completion of construction and installation. As a freelance Architect, he has followed various projects, from the restructuring of a private home in Sicily to several concepts for the renovation of apartments and restaurants.
