George Nakashima Woodworker made their debut at the ICFF in 2011 with a booth designed by a group of four students from the Exhibition Design Intensive Studio. The opportunity allowed the team to explore the legendary designer’s career, and take aspects of his aesthetic into the space itself. His strong connection with nature, and his determination to stay true to the material’s nature inspired us to design a very clean and honest space.
