This project was designed and built in Grasshopper, allowing fully controllable with regard to sunlight and maximizing the processes to filter and reuse water. It also incorporates a system of growing algae to produce biofuel and hydrogen for a fuel cell. The intention was to create a fully self sustained building, plus to produce enough energy and water to produce for the surrounding neighborhood in order to counteract the increased water deprivation world wide. In addition, the secondary tower utilizes hydroponic growing systems for food production to maximize the output vs. the square footage required.
