The project aims to consider the systematic relations between the city, its suburbs and the region, recognizing the institutional weaknesses in terms of infrastructure present Bogotá. City growth processes has led to an imbalance in the distribution of existing equipment, helping to concentrate the same capacity in specific areas and therefore low levels of coverage are generated in the periphery areas to which we should add the burden of projected population growth on urban areas.
Topographic Experimentation Laboratory as a methodology to approach to architectural design is also an exploration, a system that look for a methodology of approach to the unconventional design process, which is proposed from digital media design to specific strategies, wherein reality that has already been represented before through the media evolve to become the general system structure throughout the design process. In the same way as do fractal structures, our exploration achieved scale according to the specific problem to be solved.
In this way the proposal approaches the architectonic project from the same territory, trying a detailed intervention [meter to meter] where every decision making is determined by the system.
