This house is the first in a series designed to fit on a 50'x150' lot and maintain compliance with the City of Austin's McMansion ordinance.

The single story residence segments public from private uses. The sleeping, storage and secondary spaces are kept on one side of the property, this leaves a generous place for the dining, living and media spaces and plenty of room for the exterior living areas.

The open plan maximizes exterior views while maintaining intimate living spaces and privacy. An animation of this study is available  here.
