The result of my senior project of 2011, this sample depicts the interior conditions of a domestic space that creates an interior "hearth" or common space that flows throughout the house.  Rather than use walls to define space, the different volumes are designated by steps and changes in ceiling height.  This allows for visual connection throughout the house, but through the arrangement of spaces, provides a certain amount of privacy.
