Matam East is an office complex comprising three distinct buildings covering a total area of 915,000 sq ft above ground and 376,000 sq ft below ground. The buildings were constructed in separate phases, to function autonomously while maintaining cohesive architectural integrity. Buildings A and B are seamlessly connected by a full-height atrium, creating a dynamic internal space. Buildings B and C are linked by suspended bridges, that facilitate circulation and enhance spatial flow.
The design is characterized by sloped facades, which create large outdoor terraces. The project integrates advanced sustainable strategies, including photovoltaic solar panels and extensive green roofing, which contribute to the building’s LEED Gold certification.
The complex serves as a hub for tech innovation, housing companies including Apple, Google, Amazon, and GE.
