Competition project for the organization "Young Architects Competitions" - 2020

The United States plans to create in the future a new transportation system called “Hyperloop", a kind of bullet train, which will travel from east to west and will have the Nevada desert area as its headquarters. This project must be innovative and attractive, where the most important scientists and researchers of the world will meet, they will find laboratories, offices, departments, and recreation areas for their comfort. In addition, the public interested in technology will have access to visit this place, such as exhibition galleries, classrooms, and an auditorium.

Hyperloop Desert Campus is inspired by the hexagonal geometry of the Radiolaria bacteria. The project will be underground to preserve a cool temperature in each of its spaces. It will have a floor above the 0.00 level and four underground levels, each 13.12 feet high, reaching -52.49 feet deep, all of these will be covered with a large glazed steel structure to provide natural lighting throughout the day, which will have 5 ventilation ducts, the central one will be the highest because it has a branched structure that will provide electricity to the entire project through its solar panels.
