The tallest planned development in New Jersey, Journal Square will be a city within a city, J2 is designed to revitalize an urban void by leveraging connections to transportation and existing population centers. Journal Squared is a new mixed-use high-rise development awarded through a design competition to HWKN and Handel Architects. The three tower project - the tallest at 82 stories - includes over 2,000 apartments, as well as office space and retail. A sweeping tree-filled plaza will host a farmers market, evening film projections and public events along its low stairs that slope down to the PATH station.
