This schematic design for a work/live space for a writer and a florist explores the spatial potential of a square and the boundaries between private and public spaces. Rather than setting the storefront on the street side, the point of entry is set to the side past an opaque wall. This organization allows an translucent light well to occupy the entire south side of the building.
