The project speculates a brand new method of urban planning in small scale located in Hudson yard, New York city.

It is a self-contained communities that are surrounded by "greenbelts", containing proportionate areas of residences, industry, and agriculture. It would become self- sufficient when it reached full population. In this project, we are trying to combine the town and country in order to provide the working class an alternative way of working in an overcrowded city. After studied some modern architecture projects, we believe that in order to create a public and healthy community in a massive structure, we need to provide exposure of building interior to the exterior, so in this project, we provide widely spaced building blocks and create large vertical space to ensure that each dwelling unit had access to sunlight, fresh air, and greenery.
