AMERICA'S TEACHING ZOO requested a new enclosure for their lion, which was residing in a small cage. The challenge was to design an elaborative and flexible gate system that separates the lion from the staff during maintenance or examinations. Using black stainless steel mesh around the perimeter gives the visitors clear views of the lion from any location in the enclosure.
