The August Wilson House, located at 1727 Bedford Ave, is the childhood home of Pittsburgh playwright August Wilson and is a focal point of historical significance and pride for the Hill District in Pittsburgh. Currently, the house is in disrepair with an incomplete south facade and a stripped interior. The studio project focused on restoring the south facade, creating a complete set of drawings for the facade renovation and replacing the missing facade elements through digital and manual fabrication.
