STYLEsmart analyzes ornament as a specific function on 3 different precedents of California architecture (Mid-Century Modern, Spanish Revival, and Craftsman). This project assumes that the conservation of resources is an essential function to architecture and can determine a new `ornament' that is specific to the style from which it derived.
