The predominant feature in most cardboard furniture is its disposability; it is built to be discarded while ignoring a finish quality that can withstand the test of time. The remedy and thus the goal of the explorations is to void the notion of the "throw-away" and instill permanence in the object from a material source that is already considered past its use-life.In a series of explorations and research adventures the possibilities of recycled cardboard and paper as furniture are developed.
