ASH WOOD HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE MORE THAN LANDFILL. THROUGH THOUGHTFUL DESIGN AND CONSIDERATION OF HOW WE USE RENEWABLE RESOURCES, IT CAN RESPOND TO HUMAN NEEDS AND DESIRES IN A FASHIONABLE, PRACTICAL, AND UNIQUE WAY. THIS WAY IS BLOK.

BLOK TAKES THE PURITY OF THE CUBE AND TRACES STRUCTURE THROUGH SPACE; ESTABLISHING A FRAMEWORK WITHIN WHICH VARIOUS FURNISHINGS AND SPACES ARE HOUSED. BLOK  IS AT ONCE A CUBE AND TWO TABLES, TWO CHAIRS, TWO STORAGE SPACES. IT IS A MULTITASKING, MINIMALIST MASTERPIECE THAT WILL BE COMFORTABLE IN ANY CONTEMPORARY SETTING, WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE INTIMACY OF WOODEN FURNISHING DESIGNED FOR THE HUMAN CONDITION.
