Through the process of dissecting the essential parts of a modular home, the structure is redesigned based on the elements needed to enhance the occupant's living environment. Inspiration for the design came from a photograph taken during the dissection stage of the home. A section of the trailer's wall was cut and removed, creating an aperture for light to penetrate the space. Thus generating the conceptual idea of a "slice of light."
