The Acceleration of Slowness
I believe in the precision and sensitivity of architecture's response to people, place and material. There is a slowness to which we design that is often times balanced by our reveries and desire for timelessness. Our slowness is accelerated by our endless heuristic efforts to craft and compose an architecture that resonates with its people and is rooted in its place. It is through this careful chaos that we find the beauty of architecture and of place, woven together by our thoughts, experiences and memories. It is only when we begin to slow down and become more attuned to our environments, our people and our thoughts that we will discover the harmony of all.
