About 

I am an accomplished LEED AP, NY State Licensed Architect that possess  over fourteen years of experience in various projects types ranging from the design and construction of mid / high-rise residential and mixed-use buildings, industrial and commercial buildings, to the renovation and rehabilitation of landmark historical buildings. I have an expansive knowledge of both the design and construction process, as well as have logged in numerous hours in the field. My attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensure that every project I work on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard while my verbal communication skills and positive attitude make me an effective communicator with all clients and consultants I work with.

Employment

Responsible for the schematic design through construction document phase of all new construction and renovations. Primary responsibilities include zoning and building code analysis, consultant coordination, client relations, DOB and other NYC filing applications such as the Housing Preservation Department, Landmarks and/or the Board of Standards and Appeals. In addition I coordinate and oversee the work of several junior team members with regards to project quality control.

Projects to date include:

- Muller Residence: Bronx, New York
Renovation and redesign of a 1960 US Army Munitions Warehouse into a 200 bed facility for the Doe Fund, a non-profit organization here in NYC which provides vocational training and temporary housing to homeless men and returning war veterans.

- National Center for Palliative Care Innovation: New York, New York
Creation of a new 180,000 sf Palliative Care Center and headquarters for the Healthcare Chaplaincy of New York. The campus will be the first of its kind in the US and will serve as the organization's premier national facility for palliative care, a comprehensive approach to treating serious illness that focuses on a patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. LEED Gold. Collaborative project with FXFowle and Clodagh Design.

- The Jewish National Fund Building: New York, New York
Renovation of the existing 1919 landmarked mansion and the construction of a new 3-story annex and fifth floor. NYC Board of Standards and Appeals Approval as well as Landmarks Approval required

- Prospect Plaza Development: Brooklyn, New York
Request for Proposal for the development of 4.5 acres which shall include construction of house mixed use buildings, townhouse units, and a community facility component accessible to both the new development residents and the surrounding community. Housing to accommodate both low and moderate-income families and comply with HUD regulations.

-Sea View Senior Housing: Staten Island, New York
A large scale residential complex on a fifty acre environmentally sensitive site which is to provide 340 dwelling units of various types and sizes 160 of which will be Assisted Living, and 14,500 SF of community center facilities.

-Park Columbus: New York, New York
Renovation and expansion of an existing ten-story residential Condominium conversion in the Upper West Side neighborhood by YL Equities.

Responsible for the construction document phase of a new luxury multi-family building as well as the construction administration of a new industrial park complex. Primary responsibilities included, consultant coordination, client relations, DOB filings and coordination

Supervised construction of three warehouse structures for the development group Integrated Property Services.

- The Oasis: Ft. Meyers Florida:
Creation of three new residential luxury residential towers for the Related Group of Florida.

Primary responsibilities included design development in coordination with one of firm's principals, development of DD and CD drawing sets. Provided oversight and quality control for all drawing sets, coordinated with consultants.
