Serve as Design Coordinator to all Planning and Design
Managers MTVN facility expansions in New York, both large
and small. This includes representing MTVN to the
outside consultants on behalf of Planning and Design.
It also includes:
• Project Manage on construction projects as requested.
On small construction projects this includes completing
programming, pricing drawings and following up with the
Construction Manager, Engineer, consultants and internal
departments as required. On Large projects this includes sending
out construction, sub-contractor and furniture bid packages,
reviewing contruction plans, maintain change order logs,
following up with Architect, Construction Manager, Consultants,
Furniture dealers and internal facilties department.
•Working on furniture projects as requested. Assisting with
Schematic & Design Development on small projects. This
includes selecting, furnishings and finishes and following up
with the Furniture Reps and Dealers and internal departments
as required.
•Day to day responsibilities include Monthly Maintaince of all
floors @ 1515 Broadway and periodic visits at other MTVN
facilities for regular walk-throughs, maintain contact with
Planning & Design’s Facilities staff in other buildings regarding
construction, maintenance or move projects and documentation
of items with proper close out.
•Independently meet with executives across the Viacom
umbrella to discuss personal office furniture needs. After
initial meeting follow up with furniture, fabrics and accessories
to embody executives personal design aesthetic. Complete
pricing, schedule install, manage delivery and complete
Day 2 requests by executive.
•Maintain the ergonomics program for all MTVN offices and
coordinate with P&D’s Facilities Group for installation and
deliveries.
•Processing and tracking of miscellaneous furniture orders,
quotes, purchase orders and invoices.
•Create purchase orders and maintain Excel budget sheet of
individual construction projects as well as overall capital
furniture expenses.
• Maintaining FF&E section the Project Management
Curriculum “Green Book”. This “how-to handbook” is used
as a training and reference guide for all P&D’s policies and
procedures as it relates to projects & facilities management
