Serhat Yildiz is an architect, designer, space enthusiast, surfer from Istanbul, living and working in Vienna. He practiced at Istanbul, Milano, Amsterdam, Miami, and Los Angeles. His ultimate goal is advancing life beyond the Earth by using space technologies, and increase environmental qualities on Earth with the data-driven design.
In his professional career, he has done key contributions for many international works, major awards, and competition winner projects including Medical University of Vienna, Red Bull Munich Sports Complex, Institute of Science and Technology Austria, Hong Kong Pavilion in Venice Biennale 2018, AIA Florida Merit Award for Billboard Building, and AIA Miami Divine Detail Award for The Betsy-Carlton Hotel.
He had studied at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Politecnico di Milano and Istanbul Kultur University. During his education, he received several merit-based scholarships. He was a volunteer partner at Hats off For Cancer organization and a member of UCLA Surf Team.

• Analyzes project goals, conceive and develop architectural concepts/solutions for those goals.

• Have won 4 architectural and urban competition projects.
• Developed concepts with Prof. Dietmar Eberle for mainly public-use competition projects and exhibition works in several cities including Vienna, Venice, Paris, Zurich, Berlin, Shanghai.
• Investigated typologies and programs in relation to formal qualities during design processes for projects such as; FH Campus Vienna, Medical University of Vienna, Institute of Science and Technology Austria, and Hong Kong Pavilion in Venice Biennale.

• Assistant Manager in the workshop of UCLA's IDEAS for digital manufacturing, computational design and engineering design responsibilities.
• Assisted graduate student projects in the creation and transformation of their prototypes by advising application techniques at varying scales using the advanced modeling systems and high-tech materials.
Shulman + Associates, Miami, FL, US, Designer Architect
• Collaborated with a design team to create concepts, schematic designs and design development projects in Miami Downtown, Wynwood, Miami Beach and Orlando for public and private use.
• Generated 3D models, diagrams and renders for more than 15 projects such as Universal Studios in Orlando, Billboard Building, and Betsy-Carlton Hotel by using Rhino, V-Ray, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Contributed for 2017 AIA Miami and AIA Florida Award of Excellence (Additions) Billboard Building, and 2017 AIA Miami Divine Detail Award The Betsy-Carlton Hotel (The Orb).
