Employment 

UCLA Health System Planning, Design & Construction, Los Angeles, CA, US, Project Manager/Principal Analyst 2

Responsible for creating and implementing an interior design standards portfolio for more than 150 UCLA Health System outpatient clinics; designed, documented, specified for and managed several individual UCLA Health System, high-dollar clinic renovations; Navigated successfully within an extremely complex environment of various system protocols, contractual and governmental obligations in order to accomplish the enterprise goals for each construction project.

Interior Design & Project Management:
Able to create interior design concepts and evaluate for project feasibility; has knowledge of the unique constraints for specifying healthcare-rated interior finishes, furniture, medical equipment and accessories as it relates to safety, durability and infection control; experienced with designing custom millwork and intricate floor patterns; skilled at the creation of color-rendered client presentations; has developed donor recognition and corporate branded signage. Construction Projects & Financial Management:
Experienced with vendor and project related contracts together with negotiating construction and vendor bids; able to effectively manage construction schedules, general contractors and various outside consultants; has knowledge of UC system JOC (Job Order Contractor) contracts and EGordian project management software program, construction safety, infection control & CIRA documentation; has experience in relocating staff with IT/DATA cabling, phones and equipment due to impending construction projects; has an understanding of Joint Commission, OSHPD Administrative and California building codes; able to proactively coordinate project-related activities with facilities personnel; Experienced with creating Purchase Orders for the purchasing of materials, furniture, medical equipment and accessories; understands how to manage payment applications from general contractors and vendors.
