My upbringing in Grand Forks, ND has provided me with a grounded outlook and solid work ethic. I have drawn inspiration from the Midwest in terms of the utilitarian vernacular forms and the need for function within every aspect of the built environment. I enjoy discovering new ways of doing things which I facilitate through travel and investigations made possible through the study of architecture. I am currently completing my final semester of the NDSU Masters of Architecture program. For my thesis I am exploring future possibilities for failing suburban environment and how architecture can redefine the American Dream. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Semester abroad at Universite Lille Nord de France studying European architecture and urban design as well as extensive travel throughout Europe has built a well rounded understanding and appreciation of architectural history and foreign design methods.

Architectural photography training has created the ability to visually capture built forms in a way that reflects the design intentions and produces images that demonstrate technical skill and aesthetic sensitivities.

A thesis project dealing with suburban futures has allowed for explorations of suburban architectural possibilities while sharpening research and analytical skills required to produce responsive architecture.
