A semester abroad at Universite Lille Nord de France studying European architecture and urban design as well as extensive travel throughout Europe has built a well-rounded understanding and appreciation of architectural history, foreign design methods, and urban design possibilities.  The urban design studio focused on two projects dealing with urban infill and cultural remediation within a context of preservation and the creation of future potential.
