Hi.
I am a very broad based professional with large scale project design, management, and construction supervision experience. As a designer, I know that a successful design sometimes means creating opportunities for other designers. This is especially true for larger complex projects, such as school campuses. In the leadership position I’ve learned the team functions best when the leadership supports its staff, sometimes it is about empowering them. Everyone has their own methods. I enjoy designing, managing the project, being out in the field as the builder. I have coordinated with a wide range of construction specialties. I have successfully participated in a couple Design/ Build contracts. I have coordinated domestic and internationally located staff and consultants. I am comfortable with managing large complex projects.

My primary duties was on site construction coordination and supervision.
I reviewed budgets and scope of work per the contract documents.
I reviewed contracts and bids.
I worked on a variety of projects, the largest of which was a 191 room hotel in Hollywood. I ran day to day site supervision of the trades and sometimes acted as the builder directing the construction efforts.
I coordinated with the Architectural and Engineering teams if there was insufficient contract document intent so that contracts can be drafted and trade efforts focused.
I reviewed budgets and scope of work per the contract documents.
I reviewed contracts and bids.

In the five year program I also studied abroad in Denmark. Ours was a multi-disciplinary approach to educating the professional that balanced Design, Building, and Legal responsibilities.
