Robert Mechielsen studied architecture and engineering at leading universities in Europe. His passion is to design homes/building which are self-sustaining, off the grid and loaded with smart technologies.

Under his leadership Studio RMA designed the Hi’ilani EcoHouse, a break-through in Carbon-Neutral Design slated for LEED Platinum. This upscale home is designed to produce its own drinking water and electrical needs and is built with Tridipanel SCIP Technology.
