About 

Currently a student of Architectural Studies at Southern Illinois University, aspiring for my Bachelor's degree in Applied Science. I have a great interest in the digital field of architecture as it pertains to the progression and influence on forms through such typologies as informed generative and symbiotic design.

I work closely with Professor Melinda LaGarce in the Interior Design program at SIU to compile and collect photographs,data, and other information, both within and outside of the program, in order to design and create an interactive, informative and intriguing website for the Interior Design program at SIU. I also aid Ms. LaGarce with any additional work that needs to be done within the program.

I act as an intermediary for those wishing to translate their digital designs and concepts into tactile, physical models/pieces. I work with several pieces of equipment including; a 32"x18" Universal Laser Systems laser cutter VLS6.60 series, a 24"x12" Universal Laser Systems laser cutter M300 series, two rapid prototyping machines( a dual extrusion MakerBot Replicator & a single extrusion MakerBot Replicator), and one ShopBot CNC machine.

Part of the SIU Extern Program, for one week i worked as an intern dealing with such work as updating interior specs and color boards, overviewing construction documents, compiling research for presentations, and helping out where needed.

Sigma Alpha Lambda is an Academic Honors Society whose goals are as follows:

To promote academic excellence at the chapter and national level and to encourage high academic achievement among school-aged children in our community.
To engage university students, faculty, and staff as well as the surrounding community in meaningful, relevant service initiatives and raise awareness for worthwhile causes.
To promote an understanding of the service model of leadership, to educate on the philosophy of leading through service, and to develop leaders to who incorporate service into their lives.

Co-founder/Web-master/Presenter of siu_ARC, Nomination

siu_ARC is Southern Illinois University's Architecture Resource Collaborative, and our goal is to provide those within the architecture and interior design programs (as well as anyone else who is interested) with resources ranging from links, to tutorials, to programs,etc. We hope to create an interaction and a dialog between the various years of architecture and interior design students to function as a collaborative for the improvement in quality work and more importantly, quality knowledge.
