I’m Emily Van Court, an intern architect and design enthusiast. I enjoy clean lines, playing with typefaces and Friday night art shows.
I was born and raised in Wyoming, but there is only a trace of cowgirl in my blood. After my early learning years, I started my professional education in Bozeman, Montana, then moved to Omaha Nebraska, to undertake a very valuable internship and finally relocated to Lincoln Nebraska to finish school. As a result of all of this moving, I became adept at meeting new people and organizing my life into rubbermaid containers. I currently live in Colorado near family and am happily enjoying my return to the mountains.
If you have any questions about my projects or personality traits, feel free to contact me!
A few parting facts about me from some good friends:
“The laws of physics don’t apply to you.” – Joe, computer engineer who therefore doesn’t deal with physics
“You’re one of probably eight people who have attended a Big 10 game, a Big 12 game and a Big Sky game!” – My Dad
“You like to make elephant hand puppets…?” – Mandy, a good friend referring to one of my random crafty moments
