Kim Mankoski

Kim Mankoski

Seattle, WA, US

My name is Kim Mankoski and I've been working as an Interior Designer in Seattle for over 10 years.  My background lies in multi-family and commercial design as well as single-family residential work.  I am currently seeking employment on contract basis or other because I enjoy working in a collaborate environment among colleagues.  For the past few years I've been working as part of Ninebark Design Build which focuses on sustainable residential design.  I love the flexibility and creative outlook it has given me and believe I can bring a fresh approach to other types of projects.   I believe my strengths lie in project management and taking ownership of a project.  I've worked as a project manager and designer for multi-family projects and am used to interfacing with architects, tradespeople, contractors and clients alike.  I feel my graphic presentation to be a strength, especially hand-drawing and rendering for clients which I enjoy.   One of my favorite parts of the design process has really been working with budgetary restraints because it allows one to think differently or critically and be more creative.  Another favorite part of the process, being on site and actually seeing a project unfold, as well as guiding clients along the process.
