Total Image By: Frank, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, US, Project Manager
My duties for Total Image were to make appointments and meet with clients on a daily basis. I would manage day to day operations for different jobs ranging from repairing and replacing sliding glass doors and windows, to entire kitchen remodeling. When it was needed I would step in and help the other workers if they needed help. My duties also included ordering and delivering the materials to each job, writing proposals, managing expenses, and following up with clients.
Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL, US, Teachers Assistant
As a teaching assistant at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University I was responsible for teaching the first and second year students 3D Modeling Programs. Each week I would prepare an assignment for the students to work on during lab hours, and teach them each class. I opened up the idea to the School of Architecture Dean and Assistant Dean about teaching 3D programs to students early in their career. Normally students would have to wait until their 3rd year of schooling in order to take these classes. I started out teaching the students SketchUP and graduating to Form-Z and 3DS Max. This was the first time that 3D Modeling was introduced to the students and it was the first time that first and second year students had the opportunity to present their projects using 3D programs.
Architects: Lewis + Whitlock. PA, Tallahassee, FL, US, Intern Architect
During my time with Architect: Lewis + Whitlock I was responsible for 3D modeling and drafting for their active projects. I was also involved in preparations for client presentations and gained skills in the development of these presentations. I also have experience from several projects where I collected site information including measurements, site perimeters, and detailing building construction, and then prepared project files for the principals and the design team. While attending school I expanded my knowledge of different 3D modeling and BIM programs, and was featured in Form-Z Magazine in 2009. I streamlined my understanding of working procedures that go into putting together a presentation and presented a Thesis on "Re-purposed storage containers for disaster relief" to the Red Cross (Tallahassee), to great reviews in 2010. My work experience and knowledge of architectural software has lead me to specialize in design and presentation development.
