About

Design principle with 14 years experience on high profile international mixed-use projects. Born and educated in China, trained and licensed in the United States, my multi-culture background and international experience will help my future employer to further strengthen their profile in international practice.

As the lead designer, my work has appeared in Architecture Record, Architect, Fortune, Architecture and Urbanism magazine, New York Times and received AIA local award and multiple international sustainable/ design awards.

My specialty in mixed-use development comes from the wide range of project types I have involved in US, Asia and Mid-east. Have worked for some of the most recognized firms specialized on retail, super high-rise offices, residential and hospitality design, my design philosophy for mixed-use development is by connecting the synergy between different program components, a great design solution will help my client to create a vibrant, coherent urban environment that celebrate everyday life.

As a designer, I also focus my design approach on vernacular sustainable ideas. Some of my most favorite project such as Masdar Headquarters is a perfect example of express the sustainable concept through artistically elaborated building geometry influenced by vernacular building style.
