I am a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Business Administration degree, seeking a full-time architecture position following graduation in June 2012.  I have over two years of related professional experience in a variety of markets through UC's cooperative education program.  I am passionate about how people experience architecture, from the individual to the collective scale.  I believe that architecture has the ability (and duty) to enhance our quality of life, advance the performance of businesses, and improve the fate of our planet.  I have always been passionate about historic architecture, and believe that it holds a vital role in our sustainable future.  My master’s thesis explores the value of our existing building stock from a social and environmental perspective, as well as economic.  I believe that I offer a unique and valuable viewpoint, not only as a trained designer who values aesthetics and user experience and history, but also as a businessperson who understands the demands of businesses and the real estate market.

I am interested in pursuing a position at a dynamic firm, specializing in the residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use markets, situated in a vibrant city, where I can practice with and learn from the world’s leading professionals.  I am an enthusiastic student who thrives on new challenges, so I trust that I will be an asset to a design team.  I am a diligent worker, quick learner, and I am extremely organized.  As noted in my resume, I have a significant amount of leadership and teamwork experience, which has proved valuable in the workplace.  I am poised for the challenge of entering the architecture and design industry in the Summer of 2012.
