I hold a M Sc.in Architecture degree from Institute of Computational Design, University of Stuttgart. I also hold a B.A. in Architecture with a Minor in Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley. I have worked in six different Architecture and engineering firms (the last two in New York) and as a freelance architect in the past seven years.
During my education and professional experience I have developed strong skills in architectural design and drawing (Autocad, Adobe Master Suite), and proficiency in 3D modeling and computational design (Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper/Python, Sketchup, Maya, 3ds Max) and computer rendering (VRay, Mental Ray, Maxwell) as well as in depth design research methodologies in various fields. I have extensive and in depth experience in different state of the art fabrication technologies and methodologies. I have also worked on renovation, restoration, and interior design projects where I have lead the process of design and execution.
My most recent professional experience has been at TRA Studio, a small full service Manhattan based office, with a focus on mixed use, commercial, and residential projects of different scales. I worked there as a Project Architect on a number of different projects, predominantly design, detailing and documentation for a new construction 9 storey mixed use condo building in Kips Bay and design to construction for a department store in Chelsea Market. I also engaged in filing process for a number of smaller projects, preparing proposals for the New York Landmark Protection Commission, material and vendor research, the process to elect and grant projects to corresponding contractors, and construction administration. Prior to that I worked at Purcell Architects, a small midtown office which focuses on educational and mixed use projects in New York as an intermediate project architect on all phases of two Pre-K projects. Prior to that I worked for 2 years as an architectural designer/product developer/ digital drafter/ 3D modeler & visualizer for Aditazz, a San Francisco based Architecture firm which works mainly on health care projects. Besides my architectural design tasks, I was involved in the R&D team which works on developing software tools that serve the design process through simulation, information management, and design optimization. I also worked on generative design tools which enable integration between the design intent and fabrication techniques and improves the process of assembly.
I am self-motivated and highly organized in individual projects and have the experience of working in intense charrettes and design teams to develop projects of different types, levels, and scales. I am capable of taking an idea from it’s conception through phases of investigation and development to result in a comprehensive output. I have the ability to adapt myself to different work conditions and project types and have developed effective social skills through exposure to multiple client interactions.
Attached please find my most recent resume, and a portfolio of selected projects I have worked on. I hope I have the qualifications and enthusiasm that you are seeking.
I am available immediately, and a US citizen.
Please contact me regarding any inquiries and demands.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
