New York, NY, US

I have recently graduated with a M Architecture degree from Institute of Computational Design, University of Stuttgart. Prior to that I studied at Pratt Institute, New York, in the M Arch program for three semesters. I also hold a B.A. in Architecture with a Minor in Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley. I have worked in five different Architecture and engineering firms -  the latest in New York - and as a freelance designer in the past five years.

During my education and professional experience I have developed strong skills in architectural design and drawing (Autocad, Adobe Master Suite), and proficiency in 3D modeling (Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper/Python, Sketchup, Maya, 3ds Max) and computer rendering (V-Ray, Mental Ray, Maxwell). I have also worked on interior design and renovation projects where I have lead the process of design and execution.

My most recent professional experience has been at Purcell Architects, a small midtown office which focuses on educational and mixed use projects in New York. I worked as an intermediate project architect on all phases of schematic, design development, and construction documentation. I was the main designer on few Pre K centers in New York, one of of which has since been completed and occupied since September 2015. I also took on project managerial responsibilities, working mostly independently to deliver medium scale projects.

Prior to that I worked as an 'architectural designer/product developer/digital drafter/ 3D modeler' for Aditazz, a San Bruno based Architecture firm which works mainly on health care projects. Besides my architectural design tasks, I was involved in the research and development team which works on developing software tools that serve the design process through simulation, information management, and design optimization. I also worked on generative design tools which enable integration between the design intent and fabrication techniques and improves the process of assembly.

I am self-motivated and highly organized on individual projects and have the experience of working in intense charrettes and design teams to develop projects of different types, levels, and scales. I am capable of taking an idea from it’s conception through phases of investigation and development to result in a comprehensive output.  I have the ability to adapt myself to different work conditions and project types and have developed effective social skills through exposure to multiple client interactions.
