I am an architect with 15 years of professional experience ranging from creative office, adaptive reuse, higher education, F&B, high-end single family and urban work. I've worked in Seattle, New York, LA and now Portland. A lot of my most recent work contrasts historical reference with contemporary influences. I'm most interested in how architecture manifests culture and the ways in which human patterns persist through history.

Plate Life : Architecture/Urbanism/Discourse at Cornell's AAP
This blog will document areas of discourse and architecture/urban achievements occurring in the master's program at Cornell's AAP in Ithaca, NY. While it will feature many students' work, I would like for it to maintain a discursive focus, illucidating the theoretical objectives of the work occuring here.
