111th John Stewardson Memorial Fellowship in Architecture, Honorable Mention
The Stewardson is a state-wide competition between graduating seniors in professional degree programs and recent alumni in Pennsylvania. Competitors have ten days to respond to the design brief without discussing the work with faculty or other students.
This year the program consisted of a three-theatre movie complex set along the Viaduct in Philadelphia. The brief also asked students to design a park on the out-of-use elevated railway, a cafe, and an ADA accessible connection between on-grade public space and the elevated park.
