About

My diverse work experience has helped me develop strong skills interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and other specifications to ensure compliance with construction techniques, procedures, standards, and materials in accordance with specifications while applying quality control and assurance, safety practices and procedures to construction projects.

Throughout my career I have also developed the ability to apply computer software for construction project management as support when scheduling and monitoring project progress while managing financial elements of a project costs, reviewing, negotiating, and certifying budgets and to support effective verbal and written communications skills as means of displaying effective leadership, team and consensus building skills when preparing and delivering presentations and reports on project status and recommendations to technical and non-technical colleagues, supervisors, and subordinates.

Originally born in Venezuela and educated in the United States of America, I have an extensive international professional background and the ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently. Also, I acquired the capability to speak and read concise, well organized, grammatically correct French during my one-year internship in 1993 at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, France.
