Victoria Benatar RA, member, CIV, CAV,(Caracas Venezuela) AIA,(NY Chapter) is the principal of the NY based firm: Victoria Benatar ARCHITECT PLLC. Her firm has worked on major design assignments in worldwide, from clients including Steve Madden, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame NYC Annex and others. Her work has been published in The New York Times, Art Forum, Archis, Oculus, New York Spaces, VSMD, Ocean Drive. Ms. Benatar has been regularly acknowledged by the architectural community with numerous degrees, awards and invitations to teach and speak
She was an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University in the Urban Design department and since 1996 and she is teaching at Parsons the new School of Design courses on architectural representation with digital media.
She earned an Architecture degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela (1983) and a Master degree in Urban Design & Architecture from Columbia University (1995) and LEED accreditation in 2011.
