My strong educational background, field experience, and dedication to my work make me the
ideal candidate to add to your team. I am a graduate of Syracuse University, where I received
my Bachelor of Architecture degree. While attending Syracuse, I held various positions that
allowed me to both utilize my architectural knowledge and gain hands on experience in my field of study. Working as a contractor on various construction projects enabled me to learn many aspects of the construction and building fields, including land surveying, laying foundations, frame work, and roofing. My freelance work allowed me to gain experience in producing site plans and designing residential home additions, utilizing 3D cad programs. The rigorous coursework, studio hours, and field experience throughout my college years has enabled me to have a thorough understanding and appreciation for the construction and architecture field.
As a current assistant project manager, I am responsible for managing and supervising a wide range of complex projects from start to finish. I have developed scopes of work, coordinated work and trades to perform their duties on the job, and supervised the workers on many different projects, ranging from building renovations and retrofits to total shell build outs. These types of projects has given me a chance to become very familiar with contract and construction drawings that are used on site. My position at Americon Construction has allowed me to connect my architectural coursework to my field experience, and utilize both of those skill sets daily to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and to the client's satisfaction. My educational studies combined with years of construction background leads me to believe I will be a great asset to your team.
