Research involves the link between historic/vernacular architecture and urbanization of Beijing with relevance to sustainable development for the future of Chinese Urbanization. Joint collaboration with Arch History Dept. and Green Building Dept. of Tsinghua University. Also involves research of Chinese Landscape and ancient garden designs in pertaining to ancient Fengshui principles and passive architecture design.
