I am a recent graduate from the 2010-2011 Thom Mayne Suprastudio at UCLA. During my education, both in the Suprastudio as well as my undergraduate studies at Cal Poly, I have been able to explore many varied interests including gender and cultural studies, as well as visual trends and graphic design, working in a variety of scales and mediums. Through the Suprastudio Culture Now project, I was able to explore the intersection of architecture and urban design, public policy, and culture, in addition to how architecture and culture can become the medium for transformation and change. These intersections are what I peruse in my own work, taking inspirations and concepts across disciplines and applying it to my own design interests: architecture, fashion and graphic design. As a product of my undergraduate, a school in transition, my work can be classified as a mix of analogue and digital, incorporating digital fabrication and modeling in conjunction to analogue experiments and physical models. Moving forward in my career, I hope to continue exploring and experimenting with these intersections in architecture, design, and culture.
