In May 2011 Kaylee graduated from North Carolina State University with her Bachelor of Architecture. She is currently seeking a position as an intern architect with a prestigious institution where creativity, innovation, and a hands-on approach to solving complex design challenges is valued. Since graduation she has volunteered with the AIA Triangle 2011 Tour of Residential Architecture, worked on research for the Triangle Modernist Houses website, and has started work with the YAF Triangle Mentor/Mentee Program. Kaylee has a family history of architects and engineers, including her father, and has been surrounded by the industry her whole life. She likes to work with her hands, designing through physical models, and enjoys photography, hand sketching, and painting.
