About 

Giuliana is an architectural designer and researcher. A recent graduate from Tulane University’s M.Arch program, she received the 2022 Robert A. M. Stern Travel Fellowship, which supported her graduate thesis research on the adaptive reuse of Sicily’s tuna fisheries. A native of the northeast, Giuliana holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago, where she studied art and architectural history. She lives and works in New Orleans.

RAMSA 2022 Travel Fellowship, Grant

The RAMSA Fellowship is a $10,000 prize awarded annually by Robert A.M. Stern Architects for travel and research. The fellowship seeks to promote investigations into the perpetuation of tradition through invention and is given to an individual who has proven insight and interest in the profession and its future, as well as the ability to carry forth in-depth research.

I completed my travel in the summer of 2022 and presented my research to RAMSA’s office in New York City in March 2023.
