A physical encounter between people and spaces seem a matter that happens in a single act, when in reality it is composed of an infinite of particles, pieces, and circumstances that synchronize in time. For me interior design is about that, bringing together people and displaying in front of them a series of events waiting to be experienced and enjoyed. If I can make people appreciate their surroundings and create instances that transform lives, then I might say I am in the right path.
I am a Colombian Interior Design student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My goal as a designer has been to harmonize people with the world around them and for them to appreciate their surroundings. I firmly believe that architecture and design have the power not only to affect people’s behavior, but to improve their wellbeing and life quality. I also seek for innovation and sustainability in order to create a healthy environment and enrich the human experience.
