I am about to graduate from Rhode Island School of Design, after studying Furniture Design with a minor in nature-culture sustainability. Whether I am outside exploring, or in the studio experimenting with different ways of making and manipulating materials, I tend to use research from natural and social sciences to inform my work. I hope to apply design thinking to real world issues, as I learn more about human involvement in ecosystems and how climate change affects social justice. My studies in design, prototyping, and making have combined with experiences in ecology, urban studies, and children's education to form my interdisciplinary approach to creative problem-solving.
