Chameleon Exhibit

Exhibit design concept for teaching visitors about chameleon color-changing properties. Visitors enter the exhibit through a gradual ramp which re-centers them to the front of the exhibit. The large, multi-color wall is interactive either through heat-sensitive thermochromic paint or by utilizing an LED screen or projection. As visitor approach the wall, colors transform like the skin of a chameleon. Throughout the exhibit, visitors learn about chameleon habitats and camouflage. In addition, visitors can play with color-changing technology throughout the exhibit and learn more about potential applications. Living chameleon specimens can be observed at several stations.
