The MFA in Design at Southern Illinois University is a 3-years program. The focus of the program is mostly on Graphic and Interaction Design. Also, I am taking interdisciplinary courses to bridge my interests in Design, Architecture, and Technology. I have taken courses in Virtual Reality and have been trying to use this emerging technology in Architecture design and fabrication.

During my graduate studies in Digital Architecture, I worked on projects where I utilize computational design tools such as evolutionary algorithms in structural analysis and parametric modeling. I have done a project in responsive architecture by using Grasshopper and Arduinos. For most of my projects, I have used Rhino for 3D modeling, and V-ray for rendering. User-Centered Design was the focal point of my thesis. I designed a footbridge based on the simulation of pedestrian behavior by using ANyLogic software.
