About 

I recently graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the 2+4 program. While at Drexel I was put through a rigorous curriculum and also worked at firms in the city of Philadelphia. As a recent graduate I have exposure and professional work experience within a firm. I am looking to start a career in New York City.

Archived existing and surveyed drawings, photographs and noted any additional documentation into digital and physical folders.

Delivered completed S.D. and C.D. sets to project manager to be stamped and then uploaded to portal for client approval and submission.

Utilized and followed instructions from the design standards binder the client provided. This binder outlined the design scheme, provided space plan examples, equipment and placement of furniture and fixtures.

Produced site survey reports detailing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural systems. Drafted the floor and ceiling plan. Reports were supported by detailed photographs documenting the space.

Project locations varied from shopping centers, strip, outlet, covered and open air malls.

Researched, arranged and purchased transportation to and from site surveys.

Recorded travel expenses and kept track of receipts to produce expense reports. Coordinated meeting times with landlords and real estate agents to get access to survey the spaces.

Average turn around time for a project took two weeks from intial site survey to completed and approved drawing sets.

Designed more than 30 commercial retail stores for AT&T across the North East and Midwest U.S.in cities such as New York, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.

Lighthouse Architecture, Philadelphia, PA, US, Architectural Designer

Designed over 20 Adult Day Health Care Centers in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. All projects were designed within the greater Philadelphia area.

Average turn around time for a project took six weeks from initial site survey to approved drawing sets.

Project locations varied from existing ADHC centers, interior fit outs of office spaces and doctors offices.

Surveyed spaces with principal and additional coworkers. Organized the survey bag, making sure there was paper, pens, batteries, camera, tape measures and distos. Surveys were completed by using a tablet or by hand.

Archived and uploaded surveys digitally to the project file. Survey information included photos, existing drawings, notes, comments and questions about survey.

Created a base drawing on Autocad of surveyed spaces that became the X-Reference used for each project.

Responsible for coordinating with engineers ensuring they had the correct and updated X-Reference and templates for each project.

Coordinated with MEP and structural engineers to communicate any changes in the project regarding scope, floor plan, ceiling plan, layout and client requests.

Uploaded drawings to state code review portal. Responded to comments per the reviewers requests, annotated and marked changes on construction drawings.

Plotted, packaged and shipped approved and stamped construction drawings to clients and engineers.
